To see my home

. . . is to see my soul.  It is sanctuary, memory-keeper, lodestar.  It has been a tumultuous few years for this family, but home has remained constant since childhood.  Mother and father gone, departed from this earthly plane, one expected, the other not. Son's first year of college,  daughter's first year of high school, leaving one home to return to another, turning Fifty, added to the mix of great joys and greater sorrows.  But we persevere, we go on, we grow older, all within the sheltering walls of home.

This journal/blog will be about home. . .
